PURPOSE:
The objective to undertake this activity is to understand the overall situation of Telecom Industry in Pakistan since 2010. Mobilink, one of the service provider within Telecom industry, faced a drastic drop in their customer base. The purpose of the activity is to understand & analyse the data of Mobilink to uncover the hidden challenges which resulted into declining customer base of the Company.
We shall be using SAP Analytics Cloud for our analysis

1.1 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
SAP Analytics Cloud is a part of overall SAP Analytics portfolio & SAP Analytics strategy. SAP claims SAP Analytics Cloud as their flagship product into Analytics portfolio which covers multiple aspects as Business Intelligence (BI), planning, predictive modelling, application building etc.
The abilities include Data Wrangling, modelling, discovery, planning, predictive modelling etc All these capabilities are combined under one roof and named as SAP Analytics Cloud.
Kick off for general public of SAP Analytics Cloud happened in 2015. Apart from business planning, the other key components are Business Intelligence (for reporting, dashboard analysis using Graphs & Maps, data-discovery and visualization), predictive analytics and governance, risk, and compliance.
SAP Analytics Cloud allows data analysts and business decision makers to visualize, plan and make predictions all from one secure, cloud-based environment. SAP claims this differs from other BI platforms, which often require data to be integrated from various sources and users to jump between different applications when performing tasks, such as creating reports.
SAP Analytics is being widely used in all domain area like Manufacturing, Banking, Telecommunication, Retail, IT, Infrastructure etc. Powerful Dashboards & Visualizations are being used by top management & board members of organization to analyse company performance & trends and thus helping in making decisions to forecast.
SAP Analytics Cloud also supports on mobile to pass on the ease of usage to end customers. The content in form of ready & interactive Dashboards for all the run time transactional data allows the consumer to take fast & effective decisions
It gives leverage to the management to manipulate the data into measures & dimensions to get the desired result onto dashboards

SAP Analytics cloud provides the functionalities of Planning Capabilities and provides the environment where the consumer can analyse the information based on BI capabilities, forecast trends using predictive capabilities All in Single Tool.
It gives the user to go beyond simple Dashboards provided by conventional BI Tools. The Dashboards are interactive for better & effective decision making.
Users can get fast answers from information that is physically stored in Cloud and in remote locations via data virtualization so that we can leave data where it is created and still get value from it 'connect don't collect data' - saving time and money. We can also set up real-time replication to act immediately on operational data without slowing down our digital core. Bottom line, we can choose the best way to connect of all the data that need, whether it reside in SAP or any other Database, in the cloud or on-premises, and still get fast performance.

Cellular mobile services in Pakistan began in the 90s, Initially only two cellular phone licenses were granted to “Paktel” and “Pak Com” company and they grown very fast and covered most of the states/cities and currently total 6 companies operating in Pakistan telecommunication sector and covered most of the cities. Network coverage of almost ninety percent of the total population of Pakistan has made mobile industry even more appealing for foreign investment.
