The statement is genuinely correct that personally celebrating someone else’s holiday doe
s not signify that we are paying respect to them. However, most of the time, we do not personally celebrate other’s holidays because we are less aware of it and don’t want to put effort into celebrating as well. There are many holidays or heritages that are present which are meant for a greater purpose; however, we fail to celebrate these holidays more often.
13th January is considered as Lohri-Maghi, which is one of the most popular festivals for the Sikh community. However, we hardly spend time celebrating Lohri.
