Hi Jodie,
I completely agree with you because I too believe that instructional design frameworks are developed to enrich the learning experiences and helps in identifying gaps in skills, attitudes and knowledge of employees. The complete process of instructional design includes eight steps that start with analyzing requirements, identifying learning objectives, establish the design, creating a storyboard, developing prototype and training, and lastly delivering training as well as evaluating the impact.
As mentioned by Suartama, Setyosari and Ulfa (2019), instructional design theory is concerned with providing guidelines to organize appropriate pedagogical scenarios to achieve instructional goals. It involves developing instructional experiences to facilitate learning most effectively. The choice of theory depends on tech perceptive and multigenerational workforce. It is necessary to incorporate innovation and creativity in the instructional design so that it results in positive outcomes and enhanced organization activities and learning within the employees.
The solutions should be deigned in such a manner that it keep on engaging employees. As suggested by Seel, Lehmann, Blumschein and Podolskiy (2017), the focus should be on developing quality instructional material as it helps in improving entire end user experience. The...
