Consider the attitude that you yourself, your parents, and your grandparents might take (or have taken) toward the relationships listed in the top row between you and a member of a specific racial-ethnic group, or just a different group. Write the name of the group or just “a different group” in the blank above the table. Step 2. Write down comments reflecting the attitudes of each family member for each situation, or just mark an X in each spot where disapproval is likely or has occurred.
