Class size Paradox. There are two ways to obtain a mean class size and you need to choose one for your training department’s report. In one approach you take the number of employees in all 25 seminars offered this year and average those results. The second approach is on an employee by employee basis, compile a list of class sizes for all seminars he or she attended during the year and average those results. The results for the two approaches will be different. Discuss.
