CIS385 PROJECT PART1 The objective of the CIS385 course project is to develop a cookie- based portal with a functional-cookie based shopping cart application and XML Catalog. In this Part1 you will create an static website to be used for your project part2. This is worth 50% of your project grade. SECTION01 MEMBER NAMES 1. Two members are allowed on each group(may be more). Provide the names and emails of each member in your group. You can also choose to work by your self. MEMBER1: ________________________________________________ MEMBER2: ________________________________________________ SECTION02 DEFINE WEBSITE CONTENT 2. Define the website type of products to be sold on-line. Here are some examples of types of products that you can choose be sold on- line: Electronics, Appliances, Clothing, Flowers, Movies Pets, Toys, Music, Books, Catering Services Computers, Candy, Food(Pizza) Grocery 3. Define a site logo first then choose at least 1 category, with at least 3 items. 4. Provide the following for each of the product items: • Item Name • Item Description • Number of items available(optional) • Item Price • Item Picture SECTION03 DESIGN WEBSITE 5. Now find and utilize a free on-line template or create your own to build your entire Project Web Application. NOTE: All web pages must have the same look and feel. Every page must use the same template SECTION04 6 Define or create the following web pages or sections for your website: WEB PAGE NAME DESCRIPTION index.html/home.html Home page. This is the entry- point of your web application. products.html Category 1 with 3 items Item1.html Item1 has its own page Item2.html Item2 has its own page Item3.html Item3 has its own page about.html Provide the you name and the names of your group members. contact.html Email Contact form 7. Your web pages must contain a common centralized menu. SECTION05(OPTIONAL) 8. The Project Sample(cis385Project1Sample3.zip) may be used as your project with the following changes: -Must change the logo -Must change the template colors in all the web pages. -All web pages must use the same template -Must change each product item image, name, description and cost. -Must also change the slider images in the first page to reflect the items actually being sold in your website. These images in the slider should also be clickable. -Must complete the website which involves modifying the template content that has not been changed from the original(simplestyle_5.zip). -If you are not in a group, then make sure the about page only has your name with a short description.
