1) In the DSDM principles, explain what self-directed teams in agile mean?
A self directly team can be defined as a group of people mainly the employees of a company who combined their skills and talents to work together without having any su
pervision. The whole team work together to achieve a goal. There are around 225 members in a group (Séguin, N., Tremblay, G. and Bagane, H.).
2) According to DSDM explain the phases in "Agile timeboxing"?
The timeboxing in the agile system can be defined as act to put the strict time boundaries for every action which is performed. We can have a time box for a meeting of about 30 minutes to make sure that the meeting will have the beginning and ending on time without any exceptions.
3) According to BS ISO 21500: 2012 (Guidance on Project Management), explain the role of the Project Sponsor?
Each project has a single sponsor who is above the project manager. We do not have to manage the operations of the daily basis, but it is their responsibility to make sure that the resources are in place promoting the project and holding the overall for the success. The projects sponsors are responsible for representing the business side of project.
4) Explain the role prescribed for a Nexus Integration Team?
It is the responsibility of Nexus integration team to make sure that after every sprint there is an integrated increment in the project. The team is responsible for developing the increment in the software to have a potential release. The team will have to make sure that the sprints are reducing some positive result and moving upwards.
5) A RACI matrix/chart is created to outlined communication between different roles within the project. What does each letter in the acronym RACI stand for?
a) Reasonable: His team member is responsible to complete the task. Each task will have at least one reasonable party but can have more.
b) Accountable: This person is for performing the delegate work and is the last one who will review the task before it is marked as complete.
c) Consulted: 4 then more than one team member review the product before delivering it. The consultant parties are mainly responsible for providing the input on the basis of the future of project work.
d) Informed: his team members have to stay in the loop who manage the progress of the project instead of getting into the details of the deliverable.
