You care for a girl called Child A, for the purpose of this project.
Child A is two (2) years of age and from a Chinese cultural background. You have been responsible f
or caring for this child for past three (3) months and have written some documentation about the child.
Recently Child A’s Dad has asked to look at the documentation and information you have gathered about their child and discuss some questions.
You decide to share some information you have gathered about Child A with her Dad and show how it links with planning.

Please create three (3) hypothetical observations that either discusses Child A’s interest, strengths, or requirements:

· One anecdotal record
I had kept a number of anecdotal records of Child A, which are recorded quickly. They are a good method to keep track of occurrences or behaviours, which reveal information about a Child A's growth, interests, skills, talents and needs. Observing Child A climbing on swing sets, for example, will give information on their muscle activity. Observing Child A cry during nursery drop-offs might provide information about their emotional development. Two such examples are given below:
· Child A’s brother and she headed to the dressing room. She wore a purple gown with blue high heels. She grinned in front of the mirror once she had finished dressing herself. "Look, brother!" she exclaimed as she jabbed him on the arm. "I'm a princess!"
· Child A examined the sensory bin. She took out a photograph. I inquired as to whom she had discovered. "I found Katie," she said. "Look, I found you," she exclaimed as she moved over to Katie.
