The Problem of Malnutrition in Aboriginal Community
And Clinical Approach: A Report

Question One
In Australian context, government funding refers to various forms of financial aids that are available as federal, state or local government grants, loans, loan guarantees, land, cooperative arrangements, food supplies, direct appropriations, or other assistance from non-governmental agencies. The funding works to improve the service deliveries int
o various sectors like education and healthcare etc. In accordance with their statutory obligation, states and territories are the primary sources of the public funders of the government sector. The Australian Government is the public funder for the minority communities as well. Most of the nonprofit organizations receive funding in order to carry out their organizational works into fields like healthcare and social work.
Question Two
In the context of healthcare organizations, complaint handling officers are the professionals to handle the complaints. Five examples of the same would include as compliance management system should be handled by persons with the requisite abilities at first and then, authority to address or investigate complaints. At third place, they should provide solutions and recognize improved practices, where appropriate. Finally, if applicable, at the point of service delivery, grievances are better handled by people who have skills to manage the complaints and, therefore; address the gaps in various service delivery modes. These experts are seen as linking units.
Question Three
The support to the person who has articulation/speech issue can be provided by applying the specific impressions of sign language. The nonverbal cues of communication are the standpoints in this context with a view to understand the service delivery needs of the individual. The application of the sign language works on the concept of perceiving gestures as the primary mode of communication; individuals having problem with speech can express their opinions/demand for any assistance required through nonverbal gestures. It is implied that the professional expert delivering the services should have expertise in sign language as well. An active participation of the individual into the process of expressing his or her needs can also be done through motivational techniques. The expert can apply motivations of different kinds to encourage the individual to express his or her need/request freely i.e. the motivation will build confidence in the behavioral approach of the individual and the gaps in performances—if there are any existing—will be automatically removed by positive intervention of the expert. Thus, a combination of the two concepts, knowledge and application of the sign language as well as motivation can work on holistic level.
Question Four
Participation in the service programs may be affected by the barriers like cultural norms and gender roles. The examples may include, but are not limited to, gaps in cultural understanding of the norms of service delivery programs, lack of active participations in the programs of family support, issues related to nutrition due to some conventional food behaviors, men not accepting roles that traditionally do not belong to their gender, as per their community norms, lack of healthcare services addressing common concerns of the community as well as the problems related to the women and children in terms of sustainability of good health conditions.
Question Five
To define Interagency collaboration, In a concerted and integrated effort to support children whose needs cross various networks, interagency coordination, a central concept in care systems, focuses on bringing together and involving key stakeholders; example of the same may include criminal justice, mental health, education, dealing with the problems of malnutrition, law enforcement, and tribal authorities. In delivering service programs, healthcare professionals need to have this collaboration in order to carry out the objectives of providing quality of care. Interagency collaboration expands the collaboration of multiple agencies into one unit, working together to confront various directions of an issue that requires implication of the preventive programs developed at holistic level.
