1. Civil liberties are the basic freedom enjoyed by the citizen of America (Alexander and Alexander 2011). Previously the framers of the constitution were reluctant to include protections of civil liberties and rights in the Constitution since they were scared of the fact that if provided with a lot of rights the public can go against the government and can use their right to do so.
