Introduction
In the modern time, the entrepreneurial spirit among the public has increased. In organisations also, the employee are made to think like the owners of the organisation rather than an employee. With the advent of globalisation, the business is no longer limited to the physical boundaries of a state. Organisations are going profit for the sake of increasing the volume of their business and tap the emerging and new markets.
Customers/Market Problems
India is a sports loving country as every citizen of India follow at least two of the various sports telecasted in India. Moreover, with the increasing number of sports, need for energy drink is also increasing in India due to various reasons. According to health surveys, it is been seen that 60 % of the struggling sportsmen and women suffer dehydration and it inversely affects their sports career later in future (Goel, Manjunatha & Pai, 2014). This is a major issue as high-quality energy drinks can only be supplied to the big clubs who can afford it. But the rest are deprived of that and there is a huge requirement of a reasonable energy drink for medium and small clubs.
Client Benefits
The major benefit for the business plan is the idea of the plan. According to Bedi, Dewan and Gupta (2014), there is no energy drink in the drink market, which is of prime quality coupled with reasonable price. Therefore, doing business of a product that is of prime quality along with medium price is itself a benefit for the plan.
Proposed Business Model
The business plan is to set up a small production plant of energy drink in one of the fastest growing markets, which is India. The key activities of the business will involve procurement of raw materials for energy drinks, processing the same, packaging and marketing of the product. The product will be named Thunder, which is a symbol of energy and power. The procurement of the raw material will be done locally as there is ample availability of such in India.
The processing plant will be set up in one of the special economic zones. Initially the scale of production will be low, as a time of at least 1 years will be required to create heavy demand of the product. Advertising and promotion will be playing an effective role in the same. Sports events such as cricket, weight lifting and kabaddi will be financed for creating heavy demand. As the demand of the product will increase, the scale of the production will be increased after 1 year to meet the increasing demand.
Key Interrelationship in Business Model
Due efforts should be put on maintaining relationship with the customers as the promotion through words of mouth is very important. The reviews of the customer will the collected from the retailers selling the product of the company. As stated by Tsou and Huang (2018), in addition...
