Catapult Exercise: Execute the catapult two-level DOE trials test that was designed in the previous exercise. Analyze the data, build a model of statistically significant factors, and create a set of factor levels that are estimated to give a projection distance specified by instructor (e.g., 75 in.). Set up catapult to these settings and take five shots. Make refinement adjustments using the model, if necessary. Execute 20 shots at this setting. Make process capability/performance metric assessments relative to a specification given by the instructor (e.g., 75 3 in.). Work with the team to create a list of what they would do different if they had the opportunity of redoing the experiment.
