Companies these days are making extensive use of machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence for the growth of their business. These days’ businesses and companies prefer to use machines to perform tasks which are considered to be smarter. Amazon is one such company which is making extensive use of artificial learning to continuously grow and sustain its business operations across the globe. They use machine learning recognition systems to know what their customers want. Amazon has planned to rule the market with its technical advancements and use of technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning to make lives of people easier and to gain benefits from the business by giving tough competition to other leading brands in the market.

    Amazon decided to use AI to improve its services and provide its customers with better experience. Amazon was smart enough to sense the increasing competition in the market. so to stand out of the crowd and to gain competitive advantage in the market Amazon decided to make use of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms. Moreover, it is a well known fact that people today prefer products which are innovative and are based on latest technological advancements, so Amazon decided to come up with services which were “smart” enough to fulfill the needs and demands of its customers. As mentioned by Ransbotham, Kiron, Gerbert and Reeves (2017) Ai has helped business to bridge the gap between their ambition and action.
Amazon observed that there has been a revolution in the industry and machine learning is the need of the hour with much more effectiveness. Amazon realized that it has now become extremely important to make advancements in the field of natural language processing, computer vision and other speech related activities. Amazon decided to reorganize itself around AI and machine learning to provide tough competition to other major players such as Apple, Google, Microsoft etc. Amazon then felt the need to be more aggressive about the needs of implementing AI and machine learning and therefore, they decided to use machine learning and deep learning technologies mainly for customers using Amazon’s web services.
