Chapter 7: Sex Money and Whistle Blowing (Case Study)
1) Jacqueline responded positively after she
came to know about the stories from the three girls. She reported the same to the school management and the police and found that all these had no real hearing and justice, as the founder of the school was famous and powerful. Nothing could have been done against Johnson as he had good connections so as a response to third party obligations she decided to resign as a mark of protest and take herself away from such an organisation.
Walpin blowed the whistle against the refund of the grant money case against Johnson but eventually was fired by the president as it was said that Johnson was close to Obama. Though his firing without any clarification became a scandal. Here also Walpin supported the third party obligation by being ethical in his approach but lost his job in doing so.
