Miss M is a 6 year old girl, admitted via emergency with severe tonsillitis. Her dad is with her and very supportive but she is very scared of being in hospital and will not allow nurses or doctors to touch her straight away. She has no previous history of other illnesses or allergies. She has been admitted for intravenous therapy for hydration and antibiotics. Her pulse is 104 and her respiratory rate 28 and her T 37.8 .
