The Gordon Biersch brewery restaurant is a good business opportunity. The company managed to open successful restaurants in five locations within California. The other branch of the company is a retail beer business, which supplements the restaurants. The market size has the potential to grow because the company plans to open in other locations within the United States. The growth of the company is apparent because the company can easily expand its restaurant brewery and retail brewery. Proper funding from a stable company is necessary and the brewery restaurant and retail stand as collateral for investors. The brewery restaurants supported by a strong investor are the key to long-term sustainability and the business is largely attractive because of the Lorenzo Fertittas funding. The Fertittas support is significant because they have a background in food and beverage operations. The only risk involved is a failure of the two sides to team up resulting in poor management (“Gordon Biersch: New Challenges and Opportunities,” n.d).
