Aims of the Investigation
Managing a project in an effective way is one of the key components behind the success of a business. A project always involved with a number of risks. However, project manager uses various applications or software to minimize risk associated with their respective projects (Neves et al. 2014). This study is aimed to identify various software those are used by project management organizations an evaluation of all available software will also be discussed through this study.
Introduction of the topic
Business activities like ‘launching of new product’, ‘introducing new production line’ are implemented by organizations through a project management mechanism. Whenever the term ‘Project management’ arrive in picture the term ‘risk’ also takes place. Along with managing project, ‘managing risk’ is also required to manage. Here risk refers to ‘financial losses, ‘project schedule issue’, ‘internal conflict’ and others (Marcelino-Sádaba et al. 2014). In order to manage those risks a number of application or software are used by organizations.
Significance of this investigation
Application of risk management software is not a cake walk all the time. Based on organization architecture, budget and feature of application each software is chosen. This study will help organizations to identify which software should they choose to minimize risk associated with their project (Kliem and Ludin, 2019).
