In the sense of a basic need, that is something that one needs to survive. The minimum requirements to secure a job are food, shelter, clothing, and a small amount of essential home equipment and furniture. It also has to do with vital services provided for and by society like safe drinking water, sanitation, health, and education. International Labour Organization (ILO) and other United Nations agencies refer to living standards as the minimum level required for guaranteed access to essential goods and services necessary to maintain a minimum standard of living. Furthermore, these basic needs are also incorporated in the WHO concept of prerequisites for health, which refer to things necessary for health to be improved, which are not necessarily part of medical care or other investments for health improvement. There are several fundamental approaches to measuring absolute poverty in developing countries, one of which is defining basic needs. This definition aims to determine the absolute minimum resources required for long-term physical well-being, usually based on the consumption of goods. According to this definition, the poverty line is the level of income necessary to satisfy the needs of those who fall below it. 2. Discuss the concept of self-actualisation. An individual's potential can be fully realized through the process of self-actualization, a concept that is commonly used in psychology. In the 20th century, a physician specializing in neuroanatomy and psychiatry named Kurt Goldstein was the first to introduce this concept. It has been argued that self-actualization is the ultimate goal of all organisms as conceived by Goldstein. When someone is hungry or close to it, they are essentially defined by their hunger. The body, in the majority of cases, will prioritize obtaining nourishment over other needs, such as love and belonging, when an individual is in the throes of extreme hunger. The desire for safety rises to consciousness immediately after physiological needs are satisfied, and this desire also begins to control behaviour. There may be times when food is forgotten or simply becomes insignificant compared to the need for physical protection as long as there is a steady supply of food available to the individual. During the hierarchy process, we are involved in a repeating cycle of need, fulfilment, and forgetting. Furthermore, certain mental health conditions are also a reflection of safety needs. There is no question that persons suffering from neurotic or compulsive traits possess a psychological similarity to children because they perceive danger. Despite poverty, loneliness, and low self-esteem, many people manage to achieve self-actualization through their work. Those living in common socioeconomic conditions or wartime may not always be driven by safety. Anne Frank, whose universally acclaimed diary was written in, and facilitated by, extreme danger, is another example; both Vincent van Gogh and his suicide suggest a deep well of unmet needs. 3. Outline human development across the lifespan. Humans go through seven stages in their lifetime. Infancy, early childhood, middle childhood, adolescence, early adulthood, middle adulthood, and old age are among these stages. Psychosocial development theory places more importance on the social aspects of our development than its sexual aspect. Erikson believed that personality development occurs throughout life, contrary to Freud's belief that it begins in childhood. According to the American Psychological Association, human lifespan development examines how humans learn, mature, and adapt from childhood through old age. Our program focuses on physical, cognitive, social, intellectual, perceptual, emotional, and personality development. The lifespan is often divided into eight stages by development a list: · Development from conception to birth. · Early childhood and toddlerhood. · The early years. · Mid-childhood. · Adolescence. · Early Adulthood. · Middle Adulthood. Late Adulthood. 4. Define each of the following: a. Spiritual Wellbeing It is often a
