Doesn’t the now widely accepted view that

the media failed the country in the run-up to

the invasion of Iraq prove that they are

anything but liberal? Why or why not? What

about the media’s failure to detect the

looming financial crisis that was about to

nearly destroy the global economy?

Wouldn’t a media with an anticorporate

bias—that is, a liberal media—have been

more vigilant?
