1. Similarities and Differences between direct and representative democracy:
Representative democracy is a particular type of governance, where in the representatives will decide the policies for the sake of people. In direct democracy, people directly will make their policies for their administration purpose. In both the cases, the similarities exist that the end beneficiaries of the system are people itself, however the policy facilitation will be done differently in both the cases(Articov et al.,8).
2. Options for amending united states constitution:
There are two ways for amending the United States of America constitution. The first is through constitutional amendment through congressional proposal. The second technique is through the state convention. In this technique 2/3rd of the state majority will propose the amendment and this inturn will be further ratified 2/3rd state legislatures as selected by congress(singh RS,2018).
3. Layer federalism is the particular structure where in the power will be shared by the state and federal governments. State does possess autonomy in execution of the policies without interference by the federal government. However in the marble federalism, both the state and the federal governments will collaborate in policies.
4. Civil liberties Vs civil rights
Civil liberties are those constitutional freedoms awarded by constitution to the people. Civil rights are those legal rights conferred to the civilians. For instance protection against discrimination in the workplace, right to vote, right for confidentiality and privacy are some of the rights provided by the civilians.
5. Weaknesses of the Articles of confederation and how the constitution address them
There are several articles of confederation which are still weak. In the articles of confederation there is no central leadership, congress has no power to enforce its laws in the system, There is no power for the congress to tax. There is difficulty for congress in regulating the trade. There is no national court system in the country. Other important weakness is the fact that if there need any change in the articles, there is mandatory consent from 13 states to approve the same.

1. Both the trustee and delegate theories of constitution are the techniques where in the representatives will work and make policies for their constituents. However the interests will differ. In trustee form of governance, there will be autonomy for the representatives to take interventions as per their conscious and feel of righteousness. However in the delegate form of representation, they are constrained to behave in accordance with the interests of their constituents strictly.
2. Process of impeaching the president:
