INTRODUCTION
This reflective paper talks about certain things that are needed by the candidates in the field of information technology. It includes the recruitment process in this field, the MBTI personality type that the candidate has etc. It also talks about the need of the candidate to have a post graduate education and the fact that an international exposure helps the candidate immensely. In the end this report will also discuss the role of ethics and how ethics play a major role in the business area.
RECRUITMENT PROCESSES
The process to select the right candidate involves a 2 step process. In these 2 steps the first step is the technical round. Under this round the candidates are grilled based on the technological requirements that the company has. The recruitment team has experts who asks in depth questions on the required technological topics that the candidates need to be are of as in this case Networking and Security. After clearing this round the candidates are then proceeded to the next round which is the HR round. (Deutsch, 2018) In this the candidates are judged based on their level of competency in the field of human resource. The candidates may have the required technical expertise but they also need to have the required attitude that will help them for this job and that is checked in this round. MBTI PERSONALITY TEST
Even before the first round of the technical process all candidates are required to take the MBTI personality test. This is to detect their personality type and to see whether t=or not they would be culturally fit in the organization or not. This allows the company to remove the bulk of its candidates in one go and without that they would face difficulty in selecting the right candidates for the first round. My personality type was ESTJ which means that I am a combination of Extraversion, Sensing, Thinking and Judging.
