This report refers to the study of the "Pyramid of success" by John Wooden who is a basketball coach. This report explains how the pyramid of success is fit in the present business environment. It clears the best way of achieving success in the business. The report also includes the new pyramid of business success. Wooden’s pyramid of success has fifteen factors to get success, in this pyramid from the bottom first step is industriousness which means hard word. And the top factor is competitive greatness which refers to the spirit of hard work and getting success with greatness. The report has the strategy of the plan for the team according to the pyramid of success. This strategic plan is useful for the team in difficult times. The report also include the outcomes from the assignment that show the completeness of the report. Concept of using the pyramid of success in the project management is define in this report.
1. Describe the extent to which John Wooden's Pyramid of Success fits today's business environment after reflecting on your organization or one that you have observed. Provide three examples to support the response.
In the present business environment, the competition is very high. Wooden explains how leaders can make a successful business by using the factors of the pyramid. According to wooden, there are fifteen factors that play major roles in the success of any business, in another way we can say that the fifteen factors are made a perfect leader which makes a successful business strategy. In the present environment, the pyramid all fit effectively because the present business required the team, leader, skills, hard work, etc to become successful and the wooden’s pyramid has those factors so that the pyramid fits the present time for a successful business. From the bottom first stone of the pyramid is hard work and there is no replacement for it in the way of success. Nowadays hard work is a necessity to be successful because many competitors are in the market. Teamwork is very effective in today's working style and the team only succeeds when the team members eagerly want to help each other to achieve goals. The best team required the best leader who has the quality like confidence, loyalty, self-control, alertness, and friendship. The maximum factors of the pyramid are the quality of a good leader and a good leader makes the best team that works together for achieving goals and success. So, the present way of working is according to Wooden’s pyramid of success.
I have noticed that many of the team members cannot control their emotions and they lose credibility so self-control is very important for success. Self-control is also a skill to manage emotions. In teamwork for success, there is a most important factor is trust, loyalty, cooperation, and team spirit, if it is not in a team success is not achieved easily.

Leadership is the most responsible work in the organization. In my leadership style, I can give equal opportunities to my team members for growth and achieving success. My leadership style is like democratic leadership style where all team members have the right to give their opinion on a topic or problem and make a group decision making. In my leadership, I control my emotions and also teach important things to my team members like personal development, soft skills training, etc. cooperation is also a key factor in my leadership. I believe that everyone has different skills and knowledge, and I try to support everyone positively to manage the skills and knowledge of all members for achieving the target. Friendship is the best way to understand the need of the team so I make sure that I create a friendly bond with the team members which is helpful to know their problems and issues at the workplace. Knowing that I can solve them and it increases the effectiveness of working.
