Introduction
The purpose of the risk management is to identify the risks and the try to strategies actions in order to reduce the risks associated with the business. This in turn helps to save costs and gen
erate returns. The basis of the analysis of the risks of the hotel supply chain is to recognise the risks which are of great significance for development of the risk management. Identification of the risk is based on various collections of data in close relation with the hotel features and characteristics.
For this reason I will open a restaurant named Ocean Shores Group and will also include issues related to initiation of jobs. The expenses to be incurred on opening a restaurant will be rent of this property, the employee salary and the skills and qualifications of the employees who are expected to work in the restaurant. The issues will be listed with respect to operation of the restaurant and will try to find out possible ways to reduce the risks. The risks include the following:
1. Trust risk: It’s the mutual trust between the restaurant and its supplier of goods and contractors helps to maintain efficient cooperation in the supply chain management system. The trust is created as a result of various factors such as strength of the organization, management of the company and the technological level. There must be complete agreement between the enterprises through establishment of trusts and guaranteeing agreement between the companies.
2. Food Safety: The food safety in a restaurant business consists of mainly five aspects which are as follows: 1. Security of the materials is the basis of emergency response and necessitates the storage of emergency suppliers, funding and equipments. 2. Security of the information system for safety of the foods through erection of efficient reporting system. 3. Personal and technical support mechanism is required to implement emergency response agency, decision making professionals; rescue and public relation personnel. 4. The medical security is set up in order to treat the injured immediately. 5. Publicity and education training through safety and management of individual foods in variety of formats and promotion of awareness of the enterprises to increase the sense of responsibilities; raise public and risk awareness.
