Introduction
    The road to success in healthcare industry goes through the possession of useful knowledge in the field of medical science and it intensively comprises of the appropriate as well as the accurate use of the medical terminologies. In simple terms, medical terminology can be explained as the language of medicines. It is used by doctors, nurses, chemists and medical representatives to communicate with each other and also with the patients.
Learning of the language helps the people in the medical business to read and write the report. It is necessary to read the rules and memorise the terminology correctly. Pronunciations and spellings are carefully memorising because single spelling mistake or wrong pronunciation can cause chaos at every hierarchical level. This chaos can come at the expense of the patients.
Various Instances of Usage of Medical Terminologies by Medical Representatives (MR)
    Medical terminology helps the doctors, nurses and midwives to make the accurate diagnosis. It helps the chemists and medical representative to accurately understand the use of correct medicine or equipment for the disease. The use of one particular term for a disease or medicine uniformly throughout the world breaks the language barrier for everyone. The prescription, composition and other necessary documents seek medical terminology (Queensland Health, 2016).
In general context also, people use the medical terminology in different fields such as patients used it while interacting with doctors, teachers while teaching, and NGOs while training. Apart from the above, people commonly use medical terminology for some of the very common diseases like common cold, chicken pox and diarrhoea. I worked as a medical representative and use of medical terminology is my common language.
Medical representative deals with chemists and doctors every day. It is very common for them to come through medical terminology. The terminology can be used verbally or in writing by them. Medical representatives go through training and learned all the medical terms along with the rules given by governments and follow ups by the hospitals (Richards et al., 2015). After months of training, they get authorisation and able to represent their medical company.
