This unit covers communicating to influence others, cultivating new and existing partnerships, establishing positive collaborative relationships, leading the establishment of a partnership program and establishing reporting mechanisms. The unit applies to people who use cognitive and creative skills to review, critically analyse and synthesise knowledge, in order to generate ideas and provide solutions to complex problems. They use communication skills to demonstrate their understanding of theoretical concepts and to transfer knowledge and ideas to others. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. The case study requires the academic manager to establish a partnership between the eLearning Specialist and the King Edward College so that the college gets the e-learning modules from the eLearning Specialist, which is required as the education has changed a lot and therefore the new trends have to be taken into consideration while making any modules for the college. Also, this partnership will help the college to get the online modules prepared by the eLearning specialist which can be used by the college to get more students, as with the coming trends in education it can be noted that the education will transform to more online than offline.
Partnership Outcome
The partnership outcome of the partnership between the King Edward College and the eLearning Specialist will be that the college will be getting the online learning modules which the college expects to provide to its students for online learning and at the same time the eLearning Partner who will be looking after the college’s online learning needs will be getting the appropriate payments/costs which are incurred in the preparation of the online learning modules.
