In order to do this, please select the main economic activities and justify your selection (explain why you chose these trade activities). For this, you can rely on the economic significance which those activities (agriculture, industry or services) have on the national GDP and refer also to the national trade balance. In addition, please name the major trading partners and main national economic actors that together form the economic framework of the country's main economic activities. After your explanation of the economic framework of the country you selected, please discuss the consequences or effects of trade liberalization for the selected sector over the national and the sectoral economic growth, and include a consideration of poverty, migration escape from countryside to the cities, income inequality and environment. Your answer needs to be backed by evidence from the literature and data you found. 3. Give a comprehensive explanation of the many ways in which the “General Agreement on Trade in Services” (GATS) had an impact in the liberalization in trade and services in developing economies (it could be the financial or telecommunication sector). To discuss the impact please refer to the non-discrimination agreement of the WTO and discuss your point of view on how far trade in services could be more complex than trade in good, as well as how it can work against countries that want to reduce poverty and/or inequality.
