Executive summary: This report provides a brief description of the case study case study – JyotiVIC. The report also explains how ERP project will be integrated, SWOT for proposed system, PM objectives, success
measures and roles.
The report also includes the identification of key stakeholders of the project and the benefits that they will get.
Preliminary scope statement of this project along with the project team organization and structure has been mentioned.
Techniques and approaches to identify the risks of this project have been discussed along with the preventive actions wherever possible.
The report also incorporates the ethical analysis.
Introduction of the case study:
The study considers an organization named JyotiVIC Pty Ltd. The organization has decided to manage and integrate all its operations through single ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution in 2020.
Due to lack of integrated software, the departments are running through usage of the proprietary software with no information sharing and there are huge costs involved.
The ERP software will bring all the operations such as procurement status, inventory record, accounting records, communication between all staff, reporting and many more possibilities in terms of delivery speed, order accuracy, availability of ordered stock and overall customer satisfaction onto a single platform.
There are certain problems with the current scenario such as:
1. Managers are unhappy with this because it will restrict their activities.
2. Top management and customers are dissatisfied with current situation.
ERP system background information and integration justification:
ERP is a modular software system which is designed to integrate main operations of a business into a single unified platform. ERP system consists of various modules that focus on different department of the organization.
