Blanshard gives two examples of the process by which we test the truth of a new belief, to see if we should add it our other beliefs. one example is “Burr killed Hamilton in a duel,” and another is “That is a cardinal on the branch yonder.” Find a different example of a fact taken from today’s news. now explain step by step how you would use Blanshard’s coherence test of truth to figure out whether you should bring that new “fact” into your system of accepted beliefs.
