The skills you have been practicing throughout the course will be assessed in this paper and conclude with you constructing your own argument on a position. Your argument can be a contradiction, a support, or an alteration of the argument you’ve research.     For the better performance of the organisation, benchmarking is the most important tool. The main aim of benchmarking of an organisation is to compare the business processes and functioning of the company with other industries and their implemented process in the industry. This serves a vital purpose. The main purpose served is it will provide the business organisation to implement the best strategies, which are used by other industries and ensure their success. Additionally, through this comparison policy, the company will be able to know about drawbacks and limitations as well. Thus benchmarking is the most important practice, which is wise to be implemented by any company.
The argument behind the research
    The main purpose and motive of any business organisation are to satisfy the requirements and demands of the customers. This is very important for the company to understand society. It may sound queer but society plays a very important role in the success of the company (Kärnä & Junnonen, 2016) It is very imperative for the management of the company to understand the society widely. If the understanding of society is clear before the management of the company then it will be easier for the company to understand the market. For all these activities benchmarking plays a very pivotal role. The process of benchmarking is mainly implemented to make the quality of the products of the company better. This process can be performed well if the products and services of the competitor companies can be studied.
For example, both companies A and B sell the same products to the customers. However, if the performance of Company A is not that much satisfactory as compared to company B then in this regard through benchmarking Company A can understand the products and services of company B.
