2. I’ve always been raised to be compassionate about everyone’s differences and that transfers to my teaching style in that I try to differentiate as much as possible to accommodate for the different learning methods of each of my students. My education has prepared me with different strategies to reach the vast range of learners in my classroom.


3. I believe the art of teaching is the ability to connect the content with the student and build their interest and engagement. Finding ways for the student to relate to the learning builds connections. The science of teaching is accounting for all the variables in the classroom to be able to implement the art of teaching.


4. Being aware of how a students culture may motivate their goals or learning interests. I facilitate discussions where students celebrate the similarities and differences among themselves and their cultures to build relationships and connections so every student feels comfortable sharing and asking questions.


5. I believe the purpose of education is to discover and develop each individual students abilities, character, and ambition so they may enter society with a desire to make the world a better place.

7. CoTA training for bringing the arts - art, drama, theater, dance, movement into core curriculum


8. Professional development has given me strategies, ideas, and knowledge that makes me a more dynamic teacher. I am able to see what’s working, and what’s not, with each student and utilize the various strategies I’ve learned to reach them at their level and pace.


9. My colleagues and I meet weekly, or more, to discuss student data, discuss what is going well and what we are struggling with to share ideas and strategies we are all using. We plan and discuss the focus of our units and lessons to refine and focus our teaching. I work at a school with amazing, experienced teachers who are always willing to lend an ear and their expertise to help.


10. I reflect daily, multiple times, to review what I need to review and reteach students and how I can refine my practice to teach students more effectively and efficiently.

Teaching students is a very interesting and a job full of Patience. Each student has a different set of mind, and each student is to be treated in a particular set of ways to make them understand what is being taught. I would like to use my teachings as a climbing step forward in my future role as a teacher. Through the interview i understand perspective changes from student to student and i have to willing to make efforts to understand their point of view and answer all their discrete questions. It is very important as a student’s minds are full of questions and it is where students start to build up their direction. Strategies make it easier to grasp how a student performs and what kind of strategies will be needed to differentiate their talent. I would like to accommodate all this in my teachings procedure.
Teaching is an art and has to be very much efficient in making the student learn. The art only works when I can connect with the students. I love to talk with students and listen to their output to a particular...
