I’ve always been raised to be compassionate about everyone’s differences and that transfers to my teaching style in that I try to differentiate as much as possible to accommodate for the different learning methods of each of my students. My education has prepared me with different strategies to reach the vast range of learners in my classroom.
3. I believe the art of teaching is the ability to connect the content with the student and build their interest and engagement. Finding ways for the student to relate to the learning builds connections. The science of teaching is accounting for all the variables in the classroom to be able to implement the art of teaching.

I facilitate discussions where students celebrate the similarities and differences among themselves and their cultures to build relationships and connections so every student feels comfortable sharing and asking questions.
