Solution:
Let F denote the event for female, M denote the event for male, H denote for Harvard, Y for Yale and P denote the event for Princeton.

Total number of students = 10+12+15
= 37
Total female students = 6+5+8
= 19
Hence, probability of randomly selecting female is calculated as follows:

Total number of students of Harvard graduate = 10
Total number of students of Princeton graduate = 15
Total students = 37
Thus, student selected is from Harvard or Princeton is calculated as follows:
