Begin Working On Week 6 Test Development Proposal Assignment

Students should be working on completing their Test Development Proposal, which is the final course assignment and isdue in Week 6. In previous weeks’ assignments, students have selected a construct of interest, discussed the purpose for developing an assessment to measure the construct, developed a research question(s), conducted a literature review and critique on current assessments used to measure the construct, and constructed a 12-15 test to measure the construct.

During Week 5, students should begin administering their tests to three to five family members, friends, co-workers, etc. As mentioned in Week 4, please ensure that each participant reviews the consent form (which should include the instructor’s information and student’s name) provided in the Week 4 Assignment folder See Participant Consent Form.doc). Since this proposal is completely anonymous, you will not be required to return the consent forms, but will receive credit during Week 6 for acknowledging that you presented this to your participants.

Although the testing is completely anonymous, students will need to write a brief summary about the Methods used, including non-identifying information about the participants (e.g. age, gender, occupation, education level, etc.) and how the test was administered (e.g. the setting, was it administered in person or via a computer, etc.). Thus, when administering the test to each participant, please be sure to record non-identifying information about the participant, as well as document how the test was administered to the participant.

Methodology
This section will highlight the research methodology. This chapter will show how the researchers will undertake various steps and methods that will help them reach the desired conclusions about the subject matter.
Research Outline
Research outline helps the researchers in farming the entire research methodology section. A research outline is the first section of the entire research. A research outline is a basis for the researchers to understand how to carry out the entire study on depression. Since the research topic is related to depression, the researchers will collect information from various secondary sources such as the journals and the articles (Mohajan, 2018). Three researchers will also use various research tools to ensure that the study becomes fruitful and adheres to the subject matter of the research. The researchers will also undertake various designs and approaches that will be suitable for the study.
Research Philosophy
In this research, the researchers will use the positivist research philosophy. There are severe research philosophies that are often used by the researchers. Those research philosophies include interpretivism and positivism philosophy (Zangirolami-Raimundo, Echeimberg & Leone, 2018).
In this research, the researchers will use the positivism research philosophy because it will help the researchers conclude the detailed results by analyzing the truths and real facts available based on the subject matter. The scope of research philosophy will help the researchers in applying logical interpretation to the available truths and real facts about the available data and information about the subject-matter of depression.
Research Approach
In this research, the researchers will use the deductive research approach. Researchers often use several research approaches. Out of the several popular research approaches, the researchers often use the inductive approach and deductive approach. In this research, the researchers will use the deductive approach because it will help the researchers deduce all the relevant information about...
