- must include: introduction to CMT (what it is, who it affects, prevalence, characteristics), sub types (3 main categories: demyelinating, axonal and intermediate - need to talk about the mechanisms of each, genes involved, symptoms, neural conduction velocity), auditory function of CMT (need to talk about the types of hearing loss associated with it, what is found in ABR results and speech perception tests), need to talk about similar conditions to CMT (e.g. other auditory neuropathies) and what the similarities are in the auditory findings (ABR tests), treatments for CMT, potential use of auditory measures being used as a biomarker for neuro-degenerative disease progression
