Introduction
The Park Hyatt is one of the leading hotels, which is located in Sydney, Australia. The hotel is situated at the Sydney harbor and right in front of the Sydney Opera House. It even provides rooms that have the views of the opera house. It is a luxurious hotel that offers a wide variety of foods, beverages of multiple cuisines, air-conditioned rooms, pools inside and outside, free Wi-Fi and easily accessible parking spots. It is a five-star hotel belonging to the Hyatt Group Hotel Chain. Hyatt Group is the ninth largest hotel chain in the world and it caters to every individual with the same elegance.
It also takes care of numerous events such as business conferences, parties, or promotional events on a daily basis. The position Hyatt holds in the hotel industry and in the market is huge in terms of reputation and exclusivity. The competition is equally difficult for the hotel at this level. Now it is looking for ways to boost up their customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in order to increase their market share. The first and foremost step is to look at their current situation and to analyse the various aspects of their management.
Findings
Hyatt Group is in the ninth position of the top ten leading hotel chains in the international platform. It holds a huge market share in the industry and immense reputation for its services in the industry for more than half a century. The Park Hyatt Sydney is currently holding the top position in terms of value in the city. The business owner is considering taking new decisions regarding its strategic and marketing management to produce more revenue than ever.
Being in the hotel industry, the major thing to always notice first is its hospitality management. Hospitality means catering to every single customer and providing them with everything they need to the utmost satisfaction (Yue & Xu, 2018). The business has earned its image because of this and which is why the customers are bound to come back for their magnificent services and products.
In order to boost up the current revenue, the management team has to look at their present strategies and make necessary changes in them and to utilize the existing strategies to get the maximum outcome. When a customer looks for hotels to stay at, they look at certain attributes such as service expense, room expense, courteous staff, 24-hour facilities and many more, and based on that they make a decision. Now, these are some straight forward and simple attributes while there are more, which cannot be understood so simply by the customers.
