Discussion: Integration of Faith and Learning Assignment
A Christian perspective is one that maintains the idea that God is the all-powerful and independent ruler of everything; this view of the world is known as the Christian worldview. In addition to the affirmations that matter has existed since the beginning of time and that it must be bad because it is inherently conflicting to God, who is the basis of everything that is good in the universe, a statement to this effect excludes the possibility of any kind of dualism. According to the Christian worldview, existence can be divided into three separate parts: the physical, the spiritual, and the temporal. Existence, morality, and knowledge are the names given to these three distinct categories. A Christian education attempts to teach its students about the God who created the world, how the Christian faith is integrated into all fields of study, and how each individual can discover their own unique calling in life by following God's Will for their lives.
