Ans. 1 Resocialization is the process of teaching a person new social norms, attitudes, and behaviours to aid the person's transition from one social position to another [1]. This may be done in order to help the individual move up in the social hierarchy. Resocialization may include both little and substantial shifts in behaviour, and it can be voluntary or involuntary depending on the circumstances. The process includes adapting to a new job or work environment, migrating to a foreign nation where you must acquire new traditions, attire, language, and eating habits, and even more significant types of change, such as becoming a father. The process extends from a new job or work environment to migrating to a foreign nation where you must acquire new traditions, attire, language, and eating habits. My experience with resocialization has covered two years from March 2020, when I started working as a volunteer at a senior care home during the covid time. This was the beginning of my journey toward recovery. During that period, I came to understand that the people who live there do not condone racism but, rather, treat everyone with respect and try their best to be of assistance to them.
