She easily can obtain PEX tubing (i.e., cross-linked polyethylene) in nominal 1/2-inch and 1-inch sizes. What is the flow rate at the pipe exit at the beginning of the shower if she connected 10 feet of the 1/2-inch PEX (ID = 0.632 inches) to a full tank of water?
