Open the WordPad application and write an explanation of the screenshot functions explaining how to use Print Screen and/or the Snipping Tool. (To launch WordPad, from the Start menu, Select All Programs, then select the Accessories folder, then WordPad.).
2. Open the SaveAs dialog box to save the file as “screenshot.rtf” but before you click the OK button to actually save the file; perform a screenshot of the SaveAs dialog window using the PrintScrn key or Snipping Tool.
3. Paste the Print Screen image (in the clipboard) into your WordPad document.
4. Submit the WordPad document that contains the explanation and the screenshots to your instructor.
NOTE:When you use the Print Scrn key, you will have no indication of what you are copying to the clipboard. You can check by simply pasting it into another document such as WordPad, Paint, or even, Word. Notepad is a text only application and you cannot paste a screenshot into Notepad. Remember, if you are using the Print Scrn key: Print Scrn key captures your entire screen; Alt + Print Scrn keys captures only the current active window
