Gender bias in Video Games
Gender bias has been evident since ages in video games where the video game is totally focussed on male protagonist. Females are considered to be weaker than men and hence they are not considered the protagonist in most of the video games. It has been observed that the number of female protagonists in the games that was showcased at E3 has been always remaining low.
I play video games and have encountered experiences of female characters not on a stronger role. Let us talk about Mortal Combat 11 where the women character “Kitana” lived for 10000 years but still her character is not strong as it should have been. She could have been expertise in fighting skills better than the other male characters as she has been living for so many long years.
