In this assignment, you will create a PowerPoint presentation that outlines what you believe will be the biggest challenges facing organizations in the next 20 years.


Write an eight (8) slide presentation in which you:



  1. Provide a title slide (as indicated in the format requirements below) followed by a slide with an introduction to your presentation.

  2. Presentation should include your choice of the five (5) challenges you believe organizations will face in the next 20 years. Only include one (1) challenge and your explanation for choosing that challenge per slide for a total of five (5) slides.

  3. Provide one (1) summary slide which addresses key points of your paper.

  4. Provide notes on each slide, indicating what you would say if you were actually presenting in front of an audience.


Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:



  • This course requires use of newStrayer Writing Standards (SWS). The format is different than other Strayer University courses. Please take a moment to review the SWS documentation for details.

  • Format the PowerPoint presentation with headings on each slide and three to four (3-4) relevant graphics (photographs, graphs, clip art, etc.), ensuring that the presentation is visually appealing and readable from 18 feet away. Check with your professor for any additional instructions.

  • Include a title slide containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the professor's name, the course title, and the date.

Businesses aim to achieve success and in order to do they may be required to do future planning and risk management. It would be essential to consider that upcoming future may present several challenges due to prevalent mega trends, economic up heal and increasing competition. This presentation will discuss some of the major challenges that the organizations may face in next 20 years.
Slide 3: Challenge 1: Increasing Consumer Demands
Food is the basic requirement for any individual to live and thrive. However, in today's world, other resources have been referred to as equally important to food. Therefore, increasing population will increase the demand for electricity, water, electronics, data services, telecommunication, automobiles and much more. Further, increasing population will also demand more employment along with increased wages, which will be a major challenge for the organizations (HISCOX, 2017). Moreover, this will also increase the expectation of people from the companies with respect to innovation, and availability of new technologies. Digital organizations as well as companies providing services can be the mostly affected group due to prevailing internet resources.
Slide 4: Challenge 2: Recruitment, Integrity, Employee Retention and Diversity Issues
Increasing population will sharply increase the employment requirements; however, jobs or vacancies may not increase with the similar rate. This could lead to businesses failing in making informed decisions while recruiting new employees. Further, it may also become difficult for the companies to select the right candidates based upon required skills (Buckley, Doh & Benischke, 2017). Hiring wrong candidates may lead to decreased reputation of company as well as bad customer service. Therefore, selection of candidates will becomes a difficult task for them along with providing employment to all seeking candidates.
