This task will require the student to propose a research project related to their field of study. Students must derive evidence-based knowledge and information

from literature and/or professional practice related to one or more of the following main research areas within the information technology space:

1. Network Computing,


2. Software Development,


3. IT Security,


4. IT Services.

The title and abstract of a project must be concise and descriptive and clearly identify the research problem, gaps in knowledge and justify the need for a research project based on evidence.

This is an individual task that requires the student to come up with a 5-15 word project title that belongs to one or more of the core research areas within the IT space and express research interest and objective(s) succinctly in approximately 100-200 words (abstract). The abstract should include a short rationale for the project and an impact statement for the broader benefits of the project.
