Imagine you are creating a new and innovative technology company. In this assignment, consider the culture, management, and leadership of your organization. Remember that your company should be a place that people want to work.


Write a three to five (3-5) pagepaper in which you:



  1. Describe the characteristics of the people you would want working at your company, in relation to the culture you are trying to cultivate.

  2. Identify two (2) leadership qualities you would look for in employees. What does their background and previous experience look like?

  3. Discuss your company’s organizational culture. What are the ways you can help ensure that the company’s culture fosters creativity and innovation among employees?

  4. Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:

Introduction In this section, you will introduce what your paper is about. An introduction sets the stage for the topics your paper will discuss. Those are the type of skills and characteristics you should be thinking about to answer this question. Remember characteristics are traits such as being honest, creative, communication, and a sense of humor just to name a few. Then you will discuss how those characteristics will help improve your company cutlture or help create a positive culture. Two Leadership Qualities In this section, you are asked to discuss two (2) leadership qualities you would look for in employees. In week 1, our learning resource talked about what management is. If you were starting a company, what leadership qualities would you like to see in its managers? There are a lot, such as commitment, honesty, passion, and empathy. Research the qualities of good leadership and discuss the qualities you think make a good leader. Explain why you feel these qualities will be a good fit for your company. Organizational Culture In this section, discuss your company’s organizational culture. This connects to Week 2. We discussed four different types of company culture. If you were running your own company, what are the actions you would take to make sure your company has the kind of culture you think would best help it achieve its goals? You may even want to discuss how leadership can effect the company culture because leaders have a major influence on organizational culture. Discuss some of the steps or ways you can help maintain the culture you want in order to continue with a successful business. Conclusion In this section, you will wrap everything up that you have in your paper. A conclusion summarizes the main points in your paper. For this paper, there are three main topics, so be sure to include them all in your conclusion. Sources This is where you list all of the resources you have used in your paper. Be sure to cite ideas you are using from your resources. Be sure to put direct quotes in quotation marks. Each source listed should have at least one citation in the body of your paper. Follow proper SWS formatting for listing your sources and citations. Additional Tips for a Good Paper 1. Delete all of the wording in this template before submitting your paper. The information provided is simply to help you get a good understanding of the assignment topics and get a headstart on each section. 2. Introduction
    The paper is related to discuss t
he points and the characteristics one wants within their employees when starting a new business. The qualities that the employer shall be looking for in the employees they want to hire and the leadership qualities that are required in a person who is assigned one of the most important roles in the organisation structure. The paper then moves on to discussing the organisation culture one wants to foster in the company that would be suitable and also improve the performance and motivate the employees. Lastly, the paper will be summarised and concluded.
Characteristics of Employees
    Passionate - The foremost quality I would like to find in my employees is the passion for the work. Most of the employees show they are passionate towards the work but the real task is to separate fake passion with the real kind of passion. Passion is necessary in the long run as it would act as a self motivational tool for the employees (Euchner, 2017). There would be challenges and other obstacles during the tenure of the employee, passion is necessary for them to do the work wholeheartedly.
    Communication skill - the main essence of success lies in the employees working well and working as a team. Thus, the need for communication is necessary in a systematic environment. There are many skills required to fulfil the basic needs of the job and one such is communication skill. one must have good communication skills which will be among the top features I would be looking for in an employee. The communication skill is important for not only conveying one's idea and perspective it also involves listening to others and responding effectively.
    Goal oriented- the employees must have the quality of being focused to the company goal and the personal goal they will be assigned. Company should be put at first byte employees and the goals of the company must be prioritised by them (Taylor, Santiago & Hynes, 2019). Employees who can keep their cool and work effectively towards achieving their goals and getting the job done are the best assets to any company. This would make a healthy and competitive work culture in the organisation because to grow business from its core one needs goal oriented people working in the company.
