Assignment 1 Annotated Bibliography (Studies Using Theory/Model) Select one of the nursing theories/models described in your readings that you find applicable to a scenario from a personal experience in practice, research, or an educational setting. Search the literature to see how the theory has been applied in research (nursing research is preferable) and identify at least 5 studies that have used the theory in the last five (5) years. When possible, look for studies that relate to your scenario of choice. For example, the Theory of Reasoned Action was selected to apply to a scenario that involved teaching breast self-examinations. You would then search for studies that use that theory to look at breast cancer screening and prevention. Write a brief summary of the theory and create an annotated bibliography (how is the study relevant to your teaching topic?) for your references.
