Assessment Title The Project Management Plan - Stakeholders and Communication Task Description Assignment Overview This assessment item requires you to develop:- The start of the project management plan. Refer to the eight (8) 'other things' on page 77 PMBoK v5 for the key inclusions for this submission. You will also need to include 'Lessons Incorporated' as described in Prince2. You will also include an index noting the sections of the document and list the three baselines and sub-plans as appendices yet to be completed (TBC). a communications management plan a stakeholder management plan a stakeholder register …for a selected case study. The case studies will be supplied for a range of project domains:- Engineering and construction domain, IT Telecoms Software domain, Financial and business services domain, Welfare domain. You will be graded upon how well the four documents have been developed and reflect the information in the case study. The submission must meet the minimum requirements outlined in the PMBOK (2013) and PRINCE2 (2009). You are to develop and complete the documents as the project manager for the project described in your case. Do not simply describe the purpose of the documents. Purpose This assessment item is to assist you to develop skills in and understand the contents and compilation of the project management plan and component parts. The assignment will also give you the opportunity to enhance your analysis and written communication skills; particularly in the areas of rigorous structured assignment writing. Group/s This assessment may be done in groups of up to four students.You must stay in the group for all five assessments and utilise the same tender. If there are any issues with group members not contributing then they may be asked to leave the group and work on the remaining assessments individually. Flex students can work individually or form groups through the forum on the Moodle site. Plagiarism Plagiarism is taken very seriously. Working in a group, each member is responsible for the authenticity of the complete submission. If plagiarism is detected all members will be reported for investigation. Assessments provide the opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills to achieve the required standard. To do this, assessment responses need to be both clear and easy to understand. If not, the University cannot determine that students have demonstrated their knowledge and skills. Assessments will, therefore, be marked accordingly including the potential for 0 (zero) marks where relevant.
