Executive Summary
The purpose of this study was to study the perceptions of tourism stakeholders on the results of sustainable tourism in protected areas. The positive and negative impacts of residents and visitors on protected areas vary. This suggests that the development of tourism will affect the sustainability outcomes of protected areas. The purpose of this study is to study the progress of sustainable tourism research, to outline and identify key disciplines, journals, articles and authors. This is achieved through extensive, in-depth and structured inspections of published academic papers. Through academic journals and journals, as well as various case studies, I explored these recurring ideas in this conversation to examine the different views of members on implementing sustainable hotel policies and procedures. Through this research, I have noticed a lack of clarity about the true definition of the terms ecotourism and sustainable tourism, due to the fact that there are many different perspectives on how to achieve sustainability in tourism.
Introduction
Since the 1980s, the concept of sustainable hospitality and green has been an ongoing conversation topic among members of the community. In this conversation, some recurring ideas include: issuing certificates and “eco-labels” to hotels that prove environmental programs; establishing contacts with different stakeholders to further develop and implement this idea; environmental management systems help Protecting the environment; understanding the concepts, and most importantly, lacking a clear definition. Another recurring idea in this dialogue is the idea of incorporating sustainability education into the hospitality management curriculum.
