Assessment Task 5: PowerPoint, Presentation and Report PowerPoint: Single Slide Poster (5%) – Due: Tuesday 29th October 5pm Presentation: 3 Minute Presentation (10%) – Due: Thursday 31 October 1-5 pm Report: 1000 Word Report (20%) – Due: Monday 18th November 12 noon The aim of the assessment is to provide an opportunity to discuss the topics introduced in the Module in more detail. It will also give you an opportunity to work with your fellow classmates in preparing a poster (PowerPoint slide), practice presenting in front of an audience, expressing your own ideas, and to critically appraise and learn from other presentations. Each group should collaborate, discuss the question, and agree on the best way of organising and presenting the answer to the question. Depending on the number of students assigned to each group, it may be worth splitting up the question into sub-questions, or even parts of sub-questions. Each member of the group will need to: • Produce a single PowerPoint slide (Poster) illustrating the information they are responsible for conveying about the question. Sharing these slides between members of the group will ensure consistency and continuity across the presentations. Each student must submit their PowerPoint slide in PDF format to the Turnitin dropbox in iLearn. • Talk to their PowerPoint slide (Poster) in a 3 minute presentation in class. The order of presentations should be agreed on by the group. Independently • write up the answer to the entire question you have worked on based on the group work and workshop presentations. The report should be short (approximately 1000 words - not including: references, tables & figures) and will be submitted through Turnitin in iLearn. The report should have the following headings: o Introduction o Health economic theory o Policy solution
