As mentioned by Northouse (2018), leadership can be defined as the setting up of new vision or direction for the team to follow. The leader of the group motivates the people to follow the direction. On the contrary, as suggested by Noe, Hollenbeck, Gerhart and Wright (2017), management can be defined as the controlling or directing people or resources in a team as per the values or principles that have established. Leadership focuses on inspiring the team to complete the task successfully.
Leader motivates their team by setting up their own example and developing power with the help of people. On the other hand, management focuses on planning the task and directing people to complete the task on time. It includes allocation of resources to the people. Managers exercise their power on people to complete the task. Apart from this, leaders praise the success of the people; on the contrary, managers try to manage works for their own success.

As suggested by Murdaugh, Parsons and Pender (2018), public health advocacy can be defined as a phenomenon, in which focus is made on educating, organising and mobilising for systems change in population health. Public health advocacy involves promotion of health activities to overcome the barriers, which come in public health and occupational health. Public health advocacy identifies the threat to the health of the community. It plays crucial role in informing, creating and influencing legislation.
Public health advocates work in direction of creating environment, in which optimal health can be given to the people. Public health advocacy occurs through involvement of media, legislation and grassroot efforts. As suggested by Nash, Fabius, Skoufalos and Clarke (2015), public health advocacy acts as a core discipline of the public health, which emphasises on enhancing the health of community by work actively in improving the public health policy.
Public health advocacy work to reduce or eliminate social, health and economic inequalities, which act as barrier in improving the quality of life of the population. Public health advocates make influence on the politics so that all the health frameworks developed within the context able to achieve the desired outcome. Public health advocacy is the biggest supporter of public health and it is a necessary for the upliftment of the health of vulnerable group of population.

As mentioned by Kousta (2017), advocacy can be defined as the process of identifying, embracing and promoting the cause. In advocacy, advocates work to bring the change on some aspect of the society. They use the idea to argue in favour of the cause. They make appeal to bring the change. For example, appealing individual to change the behavior or appealing organisation to make the better workplace environment. On the contrary, as suggested by Chen, Parsley and Yang (2015), lobbying can be defined as the form of advocacy that attempt to influence legislation. It is an attempt to influence politician in the issues.

Evaluation of advocacy strategy is very necessary. As noted by Austin and Pinkleton, (2015), evaluation of the advocacy strategy allowed the individual to identify the quality of the strategy. It is also helpful in analysing the expected outcome of the strategy. Apart from this, evaluation allows the advocate to understand the impact of the strategy on the legislation. Evaluation make the advocates ask some important questions, which are necessary to make the improvement in the strategy or to modify the strategy so that it can cover vast issues or other vulnerable groups affected from the issues.
