STRATEGIES OF AN EFFECTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN’S LANGUAGE AND LITERACY
Introduction
For the preliminary stage, pedagogue perform a crucial part in supporting, upholding and fetching the kids from diverse cultural backgrounds. The verbal communication is getting enriched in an inclusive atmosphere in a manner so that can take part and feel attached. A secure feel of being a part aids kids to realize and gain the changes in themselves, in that manner that at the end of day they can acquire their intellectuals and happiness. Parental assistance with kid’s education can be measured as a pavement where socio-economic factors can impact on their kids capability. The rapport among home learning and parents’ socio-economic status can influence on young children’s language/literacy and socio-emotional skills. Parents engaged with various learning activities (except reading) roughly equally. The socio-economic factors examined in this study, i.e., family income and maternal educational qualifications, were found to have a stronger effect on children’s language/literacy than on social-emotional competence. Socio-economic disadvantage, lack of maternal educational qualifications in particular, remained powerful in influencing competencies in children aged three and at the start of primary school.
How a teaching performance that simplify the language and reading ability and expansion of kids whose English language is not their mother-tongue. In effect of performance management in preschool classes and kids task helps in enhancing developing knowledge and language development. In this study, we will focus on 2-3 years old kids. How the mother tongue will affect in their growth and development.
Mother tongue education refers to any form of schooling that makes use of the language or languages that children are most familiar with. This is usually the language that children speak at home with their family. The ‘mother tongue’ does not have to be the language spoken by the mother. Children can and often speak more than one or even two languages at home. For example, they may speak one language with their mother, another with their father and a third with their grandparents.
While, there is overwhelming evidence that children learn best in and through their mother tongues, millions of children around the world receive education in a different language. This is usually the dominant language of the country they live in. In the case of former colonies, this may not be the language spoken in the community at all, but the language of the former colonial power, for example English, French, Arabic, Dutch and Spanish. Languages that children may hear for the first time when they enter school.
The kids who speak a different language at home and the other language in which they are learn in school will be said as bilingual . The extent to which they become learners in two languages might be considered differentiated. Nevertheless, it will depend on the goal of the school program.
