Reasonable Adjustment A legislative and regulatory framework underpins and supports the delivery of vocational education and training across Australia. Under this framework, providers of vocational education and training must take steps to ensure that students with recognised disabilities have the same learning opportunities and same opportunities to perform and complete assessments as students without disabilities. Sometimes reasonable adjustments are made to the learning environment, training delivery, learning resources and/or assessment tasks to accommodate the particular needs of a student with a disability. An adjustment is reasonable if it can accommodate the student’s particular needs while also taking into account factors such as: the views of the student; the potential effect of the adjustment on the student and others; the costs and benefits of making the adjustment. RTOs are obliged by law to provide reasonable adjustment where required to ensure maximum participation of students with a disability. Making reasonable adjustments requires the RTO to balance the need for change with the expense or effort involved in making this change. If an adjustment requires a disproportionately high expenditure or disruption it is not likely to be reasonable.[footnoteRef:1][1] [1: [1] From https://vetnet.education.gov.au/Public%20Documents/BSBv1.2%20Business%20Services%20Implementation%20Guide.pdf] Please discuss with your assessor if you believe a reasonable adjustment to an assessment needs to be made on the basis of disability. Assessment Task 1:
Answer 1:
Creating effective advertisement requires a joint effort between multiple departments and sometimes different external entities. In this competitive market of advertisement every business organisations are trying to create their own identity, their existence and expose their outcomes that will be remembered by the audience in the long-term. In this regard, several principles were initiated to follow the effective advertisement that will help to meet the obj
ectives of the clients. The three basic principles to create effective advertisements are: firstly, visual consistency, where organisation need to expose the targets repeatedly visually to a specific image or display. The visual consistent ads are related with the organisation targets and plan. Most of the advertisements are observed by the audience only for few seconds therefore it had to be visually consistent in order to grab the audience’s attention. Fan, Lu and Gupta, (2017).
Secondly, the duration of the campaign. This duration should be identified in the earlier developmental stage. This is the most important phase as here the organisation needs to understand the audience’s requirement. On the one hand, running an advertisement for too longer period repeatedly would ruin the interest of the audience, on the other hand changing the ad too frequently may disrupt the viewer’s ability to retain the information. Therefore, identify the reach as well as frequency in this regard. Thirdly, repeated taglines go side by side with the visual consistency. This provides one of the most effective approach. Organisation can use the advertisement taglines repeatedly in order to help the customers to make a connection with their current knowledge of brand. Nettelhorst, Brannon, Rose, and Whitaker (2020).
Answer 2
Overviewing an Advertising brief: the concept of advertisement is basically the framework where the campaign has to be situated. In order to gain the attention as well as the interest of the audience criteria like catching the eye contact of the audience, credibility, continuity, reliability, relevant, retentivity and many more are required to make the advertisement more successful. Advertising is a way to promote an organisation brand in order to increase sales and to make aware the audience to know about the specific brands. Advertising therefore, helps to form the first impression of the business by gaining the attention of the audience towards them.
Target Audience is yet another crucial factor that need to be highlighted before the process of campaign. It is that specific group of consumers, who mostly like to want the product of a particular brand or services, and this category would prefer to see the ads of this particular brand repeatedly. Target audience may be dictated by age, gender, income, location, interest, or other social factors. Reaching everyone is not possible, therefore highlighting the focus to the core audience would help to develop an effective marketing strategy. Bolokina, (2019).
Competitions are most common in this advertising field. As nowadays the digital marketing policies are grabbing the attention of the audiences more and more thereby creating an atmosphere of competition for different brands. Though the effect of competitors in advertisement departments has some positive side such as through competition brand increases efficiency, improve the quality, provide better customers service and satisfaction and many more. but still the negative side affect the mental growth of any brand holders. Golden and Horton, (2021).
The advertising primary message, is an idea of an advertiser who wants to communicate to its target audience. Its goal is to make people perform the desired action.
There are several advertising mediums to reach the target audience such as television, radio, press, film, social media, direct mail, internet advertisements and many more.
