TASK You are to write a report of a business project for your host organization, analyze and discuss your findings and present a conclusion and recommendations for your selected topic. DESCRIPTION The Project Report should be 4,000 to 5,000 words that includes a title page, an executive summary, table of contents followed by separate sections for introduction and project aim(s), methods, discussion, conclusion, recommendation, list of references, and appendices. APA style citing and referencing must be utilized throughout. MEETING WITH YOUR SUPERVISOR Formal meeting (e.g. face-to-face, via Skype or phone) with your supervisor is a must and should be held at least once a week for the purpose of reviewing your industry project progress. If you encounter difficulties in arranging a meeting with your supervisor, you should consult the industry project coordinator – Dr. Indrapriya Kularatne or Ms. Dani Mao in advance of the relevant deadline. If you fail to meet with your academic supervisor you will be considered to have received a FAIL grade in your assignment. REPORT STRUCTURE Project Requirements Title Page  Include the title of the project, name of the person submitting the report, date of submission. Executive Summary
Delivering proper customer service is most crucial for every organisation as through this it becomes easy for the firm to conduct its overall practice. The present project report aims to enhance the level of customer service within the selected organisation named Service Foods Ltd so at reduce the late and the inaccurate delivery to the customers. Further, several issues have been faced within the company that involves delayed shipments, inappropriate exchange of the information, incorrect transportation handling, improper support to the customers etc. Presently the services delivered to the customers are not up to the mark due to damaged products, delivery of the expired product etc. So, these issues have hampered the reputation of the firm in the market.
For analysis the information the primary information has been gathered from the 20 customers and 10 managers working in the company. Through the primary analysis, it has been found
that customers are dissatisfied from the present services of the firm as many time they are delivered damaged products, customer service representative does not support them, delay in the product delivery mainly occurs etc. Along with this, the response of managers have supported in knowing that proper communication practices are not present within the workplace, planning is poor, management practices are ineffective etc. No such effective systems are current within the workplace through which the methods of the firm can be carried out in the best possible manner.
The main recommendation is to implement the IMS system within the Service Foods Ltd. Through this it will be possible to handle the order handling and processing related area. Further, it will allow in building a strong relationship with the target market. Another recommendation is developing the mobile application system to track order that will be beneficial for customers and the entire firm also.

Introduction and Aim
Customer service plays a significant role in the business as imparting quality customer services is directly linked with the customer retention (Scherer, Wünderlich & Von Wangenheim, 2015). Thus, it is required by the firm to focus on enhancing customer loyalty in providing quality and required services. With the increasing level of competition in the industry it has forced the company to provide quality of service to the customers that result in enhancing their experience level (Jung & Seock, 2017).
The aim of the project is to engage in improving customer service within the organization to reduce late and inaccurate delivery to the customer.
Objectives-
· To assess the food delivery process of Service Food Ltd.
· To identify the key issues that results in imparting inaccurate food delivery to the customers
· To identify the internal and external factors lead to delayed the delivery of order
· To recommend the ways in which strategic environment of Food Service Ltd should be enhanced
Background information of Service Food Ltd.
Service Food Ltd. is one of the leading food ingredient suppliers to the renowned hotel and restaurant as well as customers in New Zealand. Based in Auckland, New-Zealand organisation is in service among the food product distribution industry. It is among the largest privately family owned and managed food service allocation businesses. The leading food company engages in importing over 4000 foodstuffs from 20 countries along with 8000 plus locally formed products. The key aim of Service Food Ltd. is to impart the quality of food products and items at the better and affordable value to the customers. Along with this, the Service Foods fleet, Distribution Centres as well as Processing Units of the company are temperature controlled while it also maintain cleanliness of the operations. The company’s Processing Unit operating separate with implementing the HAACP food safety accredited system as well as their nationally managed health and safety system to ensure the quality of food products (Quality at Better Value,  2018).
To attract the majority of the customers Service Food Ltd. personally endorse five brands that are Balars, Wild Acre, First Catch, Press the Dairy and Essentials.

Business issue and project
Through undertaking the analysis of business environment of Service Food Limited, it has been highlighted that due to improper management of the business practices and its operating company is critically facing confront related with a low satisfaction level of customers. Thus with engaging in the delayed and inaccurate delivery of orders company condense the customer service (Hill & Alexander, 2017). The delayed delivery of orders is mainly due to delayed shipment process with having lack of effective management among the courier and transportation partners. Thus, failing to address and ship the order would negatively impact in breaking the trust and impart dissatisfaction among the customer towards the organization.
Through reviewing the practices of cited organisation, it has been stated that improper packaging of food products as well as dispatch process from the end of organisation it lead to act as an issue in imparting quality services to the customers. Apart from this, inefficient use of transportation and storage handling of food products also regarded as a key business issue as it leads to damage the food products (Shahin & Shirouyehzad, 2016).
Therefore, all of the above issues have to lead to augment the level of frustration and lack of contentment amongst the customers towards the food supplier organisation.
Information Collection Methods
How project was conducted
The researcher has engaged in selecting effective methods that have supported in gathering information regarding the business issues faced by the customers that directly impact their customer delivery services. The project was conducted through using the secondary research method that is conducting a literature review. In the literature review, different viewpoint of authors has been taken into consideration in regard to the selected topic.
In the secondary analysis different information regarding the industry and organisational environment was taken into consideration by conducting the external market research. It has supported in knowing their environment in which the company operates their practices by providing an overview of different factors that directly contribute towards attaining the satisfaction level of customers in the industry (Mackey & Gass, 2015).
On the other hand, primary research was also taken into the consideration by the researcher in the form of circulating questionnaire among the customers that have supported in gaining information regarding the issues faced by them while selecting services of Service Food Ltd. Along with this, the interview method was taken into consideration through which a manager has given information regarding their business operation.
Another used research method in the study was related with the sampling technique. It was stated that two different samples have been taken into consideration that mainly includes customers as well as managers. Both the sample size has supported in analysing the business issues faced by Service Food Ltd. as with the improper services and practices it impacts the service delivery to customers. The selected sample size includes 20 customers from whom data is collected with the help of drafting questionnaire and 10 managers of the company has also been chosen to the acquired information regarding the business operation through conducting interview method.
Reasons for selection of methods
The key reason for selecting secondary research method is that it would save the time of the researchers that they expend while collecting the primary information. This is available in large and high quality database which makes an investigation simple and easy in nature. With the help of this, much of the background work of the research can be completed such as literature review (Flick, 2015). Most common sources for accumulating secondary data are books, published articles, newspapers, magazines, journals etc. that support in understanding the environment and certain factors that lead to delay the order delivery.
Limitation & Ethical consideration
With the help of addressing the above research methods, it was stated that there are a certain limitation that hamper the overall study. The critical limitation is related to the selection of improper sample size as the sample size was too small that does not result in acquiring accurate and reliable information regarding the service delivery of the company (Silverman, 2016). However, the researcher has also undertaken different precaution to select the right decision that act as major limitation as it lead to biasness in the sampling procedure.
Through using the methods, the researcher has engaged in maintaining ethical consideration that supports in preserving the privacy of customers as well as organisation those who indulge in implementing IMS within the practices. It is significant to defend the sensitive or personal information regarding the customers against the possible threats so that it might not lead to disclosing their data. On the other hand, the organisation would also share the correct information with their customers with attaining respect so that customers get satisfied with the services of the company....
